GANIRELIX ACETATE PROTOCOL

Well here it is. This is what the next 6 weeks look like.

Medications
· Birth Control Pills - 21-day pack
· Ganirelix syringes.
· Follistim and Menopur
· hCG (hCG, Pregnyl, Novarel) 10,000 IU # 1 vial - “Trigger” intramuscular injection.
· Zithromax 1 gram - taken evening before egg retrieval.
· Estrace 2 mg (#60) - taken evening of egg retrieval.
· Progesterone in Oil (#2 vials) - start evening of egg retrieval.
· Children’s Aspirin - 80-81 mg
· Prenatal vitamin

2/26 Begin Birth Control Pill and 1 Children’s Aspirin each day.
3/18 Evaluation Blood work (E2, Beta) and ultrasound.
3/21 If blood work & ultrasound are within normal limits, gonadotropins are started. PM Dosing: Gonal F 300 IU and Menopur 150 IU.¨ Once follicles are >14mm (or per physicians orders) you will be given instructions for continuing gonadotropins and beginning Ganirelix.
4/1 Egg retrieval (approximate date).
4/4 to 4/6 Embryo transfer (approximate date)
4/18 Beta (approximate date)
