Week 17

We received lots of baby items from a friend with twins so we are now in full baby mode at our house. I am not sure where we are going to put it all.

No doctor's appointments this week and my weight has stayed the same. I measured around and I am about 38 inches now.

About the babies

Your babies' skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — their lifelines to the placenta — are growing stronger and thicker. Your babies weigh 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and they around 5 inches long from head to bottom. They can move their joints, and their sweat glands are starting to develop.
